ABOUT FITNESS & YOGA HOLIDAY IN MALTA
Fitness4Malta in collaboration with Freemyme - a modern boutique fitness club and a winner of the prestigious "Innovative Fitness Centre 2019 in Malta" award offers you balanced synergy between holidays and working out sessions. It is a training holiday, not a boot camp. Every detail during your weight-loss (and not only) getaway in Malta was considered to suit your needs. Can you plan your own training holidays? Yes, you are in control of when you train, what you train, and how often you are going to train. You can still have enough free time for sightseeing and relaxing between sweaty training sessions.
Freemyme Training Studio is located in Sliema - considered one of the best locations in sunny Malta. Established in 2014, Freemyme has generated not only a reputation for having the best workouts and most popular yoga practice on the island but also a strong sense of community and welcoming atmosphere, which can only be built from genuine belief and passion in fitness combined with a healthy lifestyle approach.
What is Fitness & Yoga Holiday in Malta? Our Fitness & Yoga Holiday and wellness retreat programme consists of different fitness classes. Freemyme is not a gym. All your workout sessions are lead under the careful eye of the professional instructor in order to maximize your training efforts and results.

Before we welcome you in Malta, you will receive a link to our Training Centre's mobile app. This application will allow you to register/cancel for any class that you desire. If you don’t enjoy a class, just choose another one next time. Your wellness holidays are that simple!
Our classes are being held in Freemyme Training Centre located within a 5- to 15-minute walk from your hotel. We offer you a large selection of outdoor and indoor workouts to choose from, including sculpting classes, intensity classes, pole fitness, and yoga. Classes are taking place indoor the and outdoor at the seafront promenade. Any questions? Our trainers will be happy to help you with suggestions for your daily training schedule. All you need to do is ask!
We run up to 20 different classes daily, 6 days per week and you can sign up for each of them directly from your smartphone, using our free mobile application. You can create your own training programme choosing different program duration, classes type and exercise formats. All according to your own preferences. Our fitness and yoga sessions take place indoors or outdoors.
You can choose up to 14 training sessions weekly, from up to 15 different classes.

- class duration: each training session lasts between 40 to 90 minutes.

- resting day: Sunday is your resting day when we encourage you to loosen your muscle and take a day off training
- You can start your Fitness & Yoga Holiday in Malta any day of the year - based on placement availability.
- Our standard holiday packages are 5 days (4 nights) or 8 days (7 nights).
- Workation (long stay with remote working) refers to packages starting from one week up.
- If you wish to stay shorter/longer just let us know in the Booking Form comment box and you will receive the final package price based on your personal preferences.
During the duration of your Fitness and Yoga Holiday in Malta, you can join our outdoor, indoor or online classes. Each class is run by a professional instructor who will guide you and help you benefit the most out of each session - and your training vacation! The capacity of classes is small (usually up to 10 people or less) to ensure that each member gets the trainer's undivided attention! Classes are designed so that equipment isn't shared but available free of charge during each class. We encourage you to ask that you bring your own yoga/pilates mat for your own comfort, however, there are some available should you need one.
Freemyme Training Centre makes sure to keep their studios and outdoor spaces safe and clean, following all COVID-19 rules and recommendations.
Indoor classes are organised in two boutique-style, private Freemyme Training Studios:

- High-intensity weights room
Outdoor classes on the breathtaking seafront promenade nearby Freemyme Training Studio at the Tigne Beach Lido!
Enjoy a calming morning, sunrise yoga practice, or a high-intensity sculpting class watching the calming Mediterranean Sea.
HYBRID INDOOR CLASSES
Held at Freemyme Training Centre in Sliema, the HYBRID indoor classes are also being streamed live to the rest of the class online! Don't worry, only the trainer will be filmed! All online sessions are available for 48 hours after training completion. Use it as an opportunity to watch your session again and to improve your training methods, if you find it needed.
OUR ONLINE STUDIO - KEEP YOUR FITNESS WHILE BACK AT HOME
Your Fitness Holiday experience does not have to finish in Malta! Join Freemyme studios and train LIVE with your favourite trainers in the comfort of your home! With a daily, weekly or monthly pass you will be able to have access to ALL our online classes. Just book your class through the Freemyme App or website as usual and you will receive your personal link 30 minutes before the class starts. You can book up to 10 minutes before the start of the class.
All sessions that you booked will be available for 48 hours, so in case you miss the live session, you can take your class at your earliest convenience!
Fitness & Yoga Holidays in Malta are suitable for everyone between 18-55 years of age, regardless of body type and physical condition. We do not refuse anyone, however, please bear in mind that good health is required as some training sessions might get intense. Our classes and the workout program is customised for those who are looking for the weight-loss vacation, muscle gain or toning exercise program. If you are a beginner, we have also several yoga and pilates classes, recommended for our less trained guests. Also, bear in mind that our qualified personal trainers are here to assist you at all times, regardless of your physical condition or abilities.
Since Freemyme is an open Training Centre, you can expect a group of friendly locals (Maltese and expats) training with you during each session. Do not be afraid to ask them for some tips and recommendations while staying on the Maltese Islands!

IS IT A GOOD HOLIDAY CHOICE FOR WOMEN?
Ladies, don’t be afraid to join us alone! Maltese Islands are popular among single travellers, especially women. As a fact, Malta has been voted the third safest country in Europe. The crime rate on the Maltese Islands is lower only in cold Iceland and tiny Liechtenstein! Most of our guests are coming to Malta as solo travellers.
Your training schedule is completely up to you. Here you can find Freemyme Classes timetable. Once your training account is activated, you can choose up to 14 workout sessions during your and Fitness and Yoga Holidays in Malta.
Freemyme instructors are an all-star international group of professional trainers, eager to share with you their passion for fitness and adventure spirit. Each instructor teaches his/her own type of class, hoping to motivate you to lose weight, face new challenges, embrace a more active lifestyle and become fit in soul, mind, and body alike.
All classes are carried out in English but do not stress out if you are not fluent in the language! Our trainers will show you how to exercise correctly, in case you need any assistance.
Am I required to participate in all of the training sessions and activities during my stay?
No, of course not. We provide our services for your well being, but this is your time and your fitness vacation. Enjoy it on your own terms! If you want to skip a training session or forego other activities you’re free to do so – even if we do miss you while you’re absent. Note, there will be no refund for any missed training or activity, though.
PLAN YOUR TRIP
Though Malta is a small island with only one airport, there are direct flights available from most European countries. Low-cost airline options including Ryanair, Wizzair or EasyJet also feature multiple services to Malta. Fitness & Yoga Holidays in Malta package does not include your flights to Malta. Daily ferry service to Malta is available from the towns of Catania and Pozzalo in Sicily, Italy. Please visit Virtu Ferries site to review ferry schedules and ticket prices.
There is no bus service available to Malta (sorry, we can’t offer you everything but remember, we’re an island)! Only Ferry & Flight service is available to reach us.
Our Fitness & Yoga healthy retreat in Malta hotels are based in lively Sliema. You can choose different accommodation standard packages suitable to your budget, choosing from 3* or 4* hotels or arrange your own place to stay in Sliema.
My travel companion (friend, wife, brother, etc.) wants to share accommodation with me but will not be participating in any training programs. Is that OK?
Yes. Sharing a room with a companion isn’t a problem. Simply choose the “single-room rate” when booking your training program and let us know that someone will be joining you, hence you need a twin/double/triple room. Based on your individual request, we will send you a shared room supplement rate.
I am staying with friends in Malta. Can I book my training/adventure program without accommodation?
Yes, you can. However, we do not recommend joining our Fitness & Yoga Holidays in Malta, if you are not located in Sliema, St. Julians or Gzira, due to the distance from our Training Centre.
Can I book my accommodation for more days than are included in my training package?
Yes. You can extend your stay in Malta. Just let us know in the comment box of the booking form how many more nights you wish to add to your holiday package and we will prepare the price for you.
Malta and Gozo offer over 300 days of sunshine during the year. More than any other European country! Be prepared for at least 5 hours of sun in January and even 12 sunny hours in July. See more: Climate of Malta
Around 7 days prior to your departure in Malta you will receive an e-mail called "Info Pack" with the detailed information about your Fitness & Yoga wellbeing retreat in Malta, including airport pickup driver info, Intro Meeting time, and your login details to the training account that allows you to book/cancel any of the classes available on the timetable.
BOOKING YOUR HOLIDAY
To book your Fitness & Yoga retreat in Malta, please complete the Booking Form first. If you have any extra questions regarding our packages or require e.g. dates amendments or any other holiday package modifications, just let us know in the comment box.
Please be aware that you will receive an e-mail confirmation e-mail upon booking (autoresponder). In case you do not see it, check your junk/spam folder.
The global pandemic of COVID-19 and the resulting travel restrictions imposed by the relevant authorities have created a new reality for both the providers and the clients of the tourism industry. We hope that the information prepared by us will dispel any doubts and help you decide to come to Malta as soon as possible. The following information applies to the conditions of booking or cancelling the services we offer in the light of the global pandemic COVID-19.
Once we receive your booking request, you can expect a reply from our Support Centre within 24 hours confirming a placement and accommodation available for your selected dates. In this e-mail, you should also see an attachment with payment request including all payments details for your stay in Malta. You can proceed with the deposit or full amount payment through:
- a bank transfer
- an instant deposit payment via credit/debit card (available soon)
- PayPal transfer
Please note that your Fitness & Yoga Holiday in Malta booking is only confirmed once we will receive a refundable deposit.
Airport transfers are not included in your basic holiday package. You can add private return transportation (airport - accommodation - airport) for only €49 while booking your Fitness and Yoga Holiday in Malta.
All the guests that have added airport transfers to their Malta Fitness & Yoga Holidays package, will be greeted by our driver at the airport, upon arrival. Otherwise, we will meet you at your hotel during our Info Meeting.
One of our Fitness4Malta representatives will meet you at your hotel, usually on the day of your arrival, to discuss the upcoming Fitness and Yoga Holiday in Malta and provide you with any additional know-how. The time of your Intro Meeting depends on the time of your arrival in Malta. You will receive a personalized Info Pack e-mail around 7 days prior to your arrival in Malta.
During your Intro Meeting, we take you to the Freemyme Training Center where you will meet the Freemyme Training Center Manager and get familiar with the workout schedule. Our Intro Meeting is meant to be the beginning of your fitness experience in Malta. Now is the right time to ask all the questions and decide what kind of workout program would be best for you and your individual needs. Your Freemyme Training Account will be activated during your Intro Meeting, allowing you to book any class, so you can begin your workout routine without any delay.
Standard check-in time in Maltese hotels is between 2 and 3 pm. Please bear in mind that before 2 pm your hotel room might not be ready. In that case, you can use the hotel's storage room to leave your belongings.
IN YOUR FREE TIME
Remember, Fitness4Malta isn’t a ‘fitness boot camp’! You’ll have plenty of free time to enjoy the best that Malta has to offer between sessions. What you do, is entirely up to you, but if you’d like some suggestions, please review some of our favourite activities to indulge in.

To our guests coming to Malta, we recommend the two ways to get around the islands safely and conveniently. These are either public transport (an extensive network of connections) or the Bolt app (the local equivalent of Uber). On the day of your departure, you will need to check-out time from your accommodation by 11 am. You can keep your belongings in the luggage room after that time. For more details, we advise you to ask at your hotel's reception.
LATE CHECK- OUT
If your flight out of Malta is scheduled for the later hours, you might want to check a possibility to check out from your hotel room a little bit later then 10-11 am. Late check-out time depends on each hotel's policy and the capacity on the given day. We would recommend confirming at the reception, only after breakfast, on the day of your departure the possibility of prolonging your room stay by 1-2 hours. Usually, it is free of charge.
Our hotels offer you an option to leave your luggage in a safe storage room on the day of your departure, after your check out time. Take advantage of this possibility and explore Sliema a little bit more without worrying about your personal belongings!
If your Fitness Holiday in Malta package includes an airport transfer, our driver will pick you up from your accommodation 2,5 hours prior to your flight (service available 24h, included in the private transfer price). You will receive the driver details in our Prearrival Info Pack.
If you have not added airport transfers to your holiday package, kindly note that you will be responsible for your airport transfer arrangements.
A trip to the airport should take around 25-30 mins, depending on your selected accommodation in Sliema.
